Quarter Back development and depth at middle linebacker have been our Achilles Heel.

FIFY

The talent has been there. We just haven't developed that talent into anything useful.

This is not the year to have a worse OL if last year's got abused by Bama at home

Same for MLB- Funny how we have 3-4 NFL quality MLB's come out in the past few years, yet the coaching staff neglected to play them there in college.

We had to endure Welter starting when he was constantly overmatched while we were told that the others were either not ready or not equipped to play the position (playbook related or not).

Also, when Aranda arrived, these guys all of a sudden thrive? Once again, thanks Chavis and Miles for your inadequate coaching.

Quarter Back development

I disagree. Development has nothing to do with Brandon Harris throwing the ball to a wide open Wisconsin player to end our 2016 season before it really began.

Development has nothing to do with Jefferson's inability to complete a two yard pass to wide open receivers at Vanderbilt (I sat through that).

How about Mett chucking the Ole Miss game simply because of inaccurate throws?

How about Mett chucking the Clemson game when all he had to do was complete the ball to a wide open receiver in the flat?

These are not QB development issues. There is a reason that only one QB Miles recruited, Mett, is barely hanging in the NFL. It's because he's the only one talented enough, and he's barely talented enough.

I'm not excusing Miles and Cam. It was their job to get the right guys and coach them up. Their failure to do so - at QB and Oline - is why we lost SEC leadership to Bama.
