Had a friend back in HS who went to steal alcohol when he was underage. Did it one day and didnt get caught, so he decided to go back the next day, and they nabbed him as he was heading toward the exit. They told him they had seen him the day prior but he made it outside so they couldn't do anything... not sure why.

Awhile back a clerk from some store chased a thief out and got shot outside the building. Now no place has their people chase outside
