Where's the 2/3 majority in both houses going to come from?

Wouldn't they need over 60 House Republicans and at least 19 Senate Republicans to go along with it?

It seems that the Vice President must agree AND a majority of the cabinet --unless congress provides another body of people (which seems unlikely and impractical)--to agree.
quote:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
So if Pence and the majority of Trump's cabinet agree that Trump is unable to function, then I'm going to think that it will be an appropriate decision, with little disagreement.

It's not going to happen, unless something extreme incapacitated the president (e.g., medical condition) so it's a pointless proposal anyways.

Not only that but the GOP knows if they did that, they would be committing political suicide, guaranteeing Democrats wins for the next generation.
