Well he actually hasn't coached a full season since then. 8 games with USC =/= a season. 7 games with LSU 3 years later =/= a season. It's not difficult to understand.

Ummmm no. There is zero correlation between stepping in as a DL Couch to be a HC running someone else's O and D and being a HC that hires fires coaches and develops philosophy and game plans.
That doesn't necessarily mean he will not be successful now at LSU but it sure as hell isnt proof he can and will be a successful HC.

A full season is 13 games he's coached 16 not 15, 8 with LSU not 7.
