You are one of the more astute posters here. Florida's top rated arm, out of high school, is Brady Singer, #50. Second was Faedo, #78.
On campus in the last three years, LSU had Mac Marshall, #21, Cole McKay, #49, Zach Hess, #57 and Jake Godfrey, #64. We also had Todd Peterson #91, Alex Lange, #134, and Jake Latz, #182.
As far as recruiting, Mainieri holds a candle to no one. If these recruits had panned out, the Florida forum would be asking why doe LSU get so many top arms.

Yep. LSU and UF are going after many of the same guys, but UF is getting elite talent to campus AND they're panning out at a high rate. LSU is coaching up guys like Lange, Poche, and Walker, and getting great production out of them, but missing on the top end guys for one reason or the other. Hess is the exception thus far, not the rule.
