Interesting that Jerry West was just signed by LAC and now both stars may bolt, but it seems as though LAC may have kinda nudged them out, if you will, knowing they'd leave if they weren't offered the full max deals.

I think West was brought in with the idea that he might recommend a full rebuild. That team had maxed out their potential.

No better job security as a front office then selling everyone on a rebuild
