Neither would a " Rosie is a fat slob" narrative.
Issue is it's not news, and no one cares... as proven by the sinking ratings.

attempted to influence
Yes, I admit they did nothing successful.

You are either incredible naive (I doubt it) or disingenuous.
I believe it to be the later.

So did CNN and MSNBC. Is anyone investigating them or doing documentaries about them?

I sure hope you are being paid, because you defend CNN like it's your job.

...every election since the 1930s.
But that's not the "false narrative" - the "false narrative" (and, believe me, it's very false and the narrative) is that Trump colluded with them in doing so.
Which is UTTER bullshite.
Now THIS isn't a false narrative: Everyone knows it is the DEMS that cozy up to the Russians/Soviets, also going back to the 30s. They compromised the labor unions, Hollywood and the Civil Rights movement with COMINTERN and similar programs. Between Hillary's reset button, to Obama's "I'll have space after the election", to the Clintons' literal selling of OUR uranium, to Russia so that they and Iran can build weapons to point at us.

You bet your arse it isn't.

Sure. They've been meddling since the Cold War and so have we. I can't wait for this CNN documentary to discuss all that and inform its audience how this is essentially business as usual for Russia and international politics in general. I'm sure this won't turn from a documentary into an editorial about Trump collusion. I'm sure this won't turn into a "documentary" about how but for Russia Clinton would be President. I'm sure this won't turn into a "documentary" about how Trump's presidency is illegitimate due to Russia. I know that has been their spin on the story thus far, but surely this documentary won't go there.

Sorry but consensus of the ignorant doesn't make it real.
I was actually involved in this. I saw what they're selling as an attack. It wasn't. It was IP addresses on a log that showed they visited the website. That's it.
If you think the russian state hackers don't know how to proxy away from a russian IP you're completely ignorant of the process.
If you think that these IP's that Homeland said to search for showing up in a log of visitors to a Sec of State website is an indicator of an attack by ANYBODY, you are ignorant of the process.
I talked to most of the people involved with securing the networks for most of the states during this time. We were all seeing the same things. Nothing out of the ordinary. It didn't happen.
At the time I felt like when we were given a list of IP's to search for as an indicator of compromise that somebody had to be joking. And then I realized that the only reason somebody would give that list out would be to take a census of all the states that had been visited by those IPs so they could say to people who are ignorant about cyber security that all these states were attacked by the russians. I mean there's your proof! It's a russian IP address! There were a couple of others from other countries but the Russian one's were primarily what we saw.
The people in this interview never laid eyes on the data. They likely don't understand the subject, just what they've been told. But now they're out there selling this pack of lies and you people are swallowing it hook, line, and sinker.
You watch what the story is going to say. They'll talk about how the 'hackers' visited all these different places. And if you believe that hackers are stupid enough to not proxy and this is how it's done, then well, I can't change your mind. But you don't know what you're talking about.
