Since we know the Cavs and Warriors wont last forever, what young teams do you see starting to make some noise in the playoffs?

If you look at the 76ers and Timberwolves, you have to be somewhat excited about the future of these young teams.

76ers: Fultz, Saric, Simmons, Okafor, Embiid.

Timberwolves: Rubio, Butler, Wiggins, KAT.

With a couple more years of maturity, I could see these teams being title contenders.

Ah the injury-prone 76ers, hopefully Fultz doesn't incur the same fate as Simmons and Embiid

What are the chances of the Kings being any good?

Pelicans. They've got 2 bigs. If they can keep a healthy lineup and maybe get one more perimeter threat in free agency, you're looking at a team that is built to beat the Warriors.

lol

Embiid: Small sample size, and made of glass
Simmons: NO sample size, though he will likely be good
Futz: Who knows what he is yet
Okafor: Severe drop in level of play from year 1 to year 2. Has played in 103 out of 164 games.
Saric: Decent rookie year, but that class is awful

They will be fun to watch develop, but predicting them to be a powerhouse team is ridiculous

Portland: Lillard, CJ and Nurk. Second best record post all star break with Nurk even going down. Can't wait to see them play a season together hopefully healthy.

It's pretty obvious the drafting of Luke Kennard means tFW is on the fast track to a 6-8 seed...after that, sky is the limit.

Wolves would have been better off in the long term keeping Lauri Markkanen. He is the next Dirk, bookmark that.

3 years from now and beyond KAT, Markkanen, and Wiggins would have been easily the best front court in the NBA
