The Ratings change a lot during the year. They change a lot after the all-star games. With that said, player evaluation is key. Washington and Clemson do a pretty good job of it. 1/2 of the final four supported the star gazers and the other 1/2 supported coaching evaluation. You can even Argue that Penn St. had a case to be in there and they aren't a consistent top 5 recruiting team either.
