A TE that can catch, is tough, can block, is big, tall, and has strong hands to catch over the middle or jump balls. What else could you want? He is the definition of a balanced TE and could even grow into a 6'5, 6'6 kind of TE. I'll take it.
The folks looking at stars and rankings will be extremely surprised by this class when it's all done, I promise you that. I think I would trust Canada, O, Aranda, Robinson, and the assistants on the LSU staff getting up close and personal looks at these prospects before I trust some random click bait writer pleasing the masses. There is no way you can see then rank all these recruits nation wide accurately.
There are a few traits which are extremely important to football which aren't even considered on many occasions. Toughness, football smarts or awareness, and a players drive to be the best he can be or leadership. Speed, strength, and quickness all wear down quickly if you don't have the latter traits. HTTB

quote:In HS yes, he was tall enough to be a really good TE, but he's a H-back all the way in college, and I seriously doubts he grows to 6'5 or 6'6. I have no qualms with the players that they are taking because they are pretty good and deserving. I'm just noticing that this class is almost full and wondering how are they gonna pull this off. Lol

They are offering and getting verbals on all you can that's out there talent wise despite the star rankings, and then what, make the hard decisions to cut the players that are lesser rated I guess when the time comes. Would seem cold, but I don't know what they're doing, you can't sign 30+ or can you? lol I guess it all get figured out.

yeah if you look at the NFL draft, you'll find these sites are very, very good at projecting 5 stars and the top portion of 4 stars
