Exactly. Lot of people don't get this..
Still not sure if the Syracuse ring propels Melo into the HOF though.
There is a few such as Dwight that don't deserve the HOF but will get there based on his talent and a shallow examination of his stats during his prime. He will not be going to the HOF first ballot though
Dwight was a former #1 pick that coasted his way through the NBA on his talent alone while even his peers and coaches criticized him for his shitty work ethic. It's amazing how diluted the basketball HOF has become.
