BREC money is BREC money.

Not in the same pool as roads and everything else.

I understand that, but BREC is going to ask for a tax increase for this major project.

Those tax dollars are also wanted by various entities so they can improve our roads, build a mental health unit, build a new prison, and etc.

If someone put a gun to my head and said you had to pay more taxes I'd rather it go to roads than BREC.

This is what dumb Chauna said on Facebook. She is a complete moron. The only thing that dumb dumb can think about is race. She's pathetic.

quote:

We are experiencing with and the BREC Administration is government sponsored economic racism.
Economic discrimination is a term that is used to describe the occurrence of some sort of bias or discrimination based on economic factors. This type of bias may be based on a wide range of demographics that seek to marginalize certain groups within the economy, including select groups of workers, consumers, or even specific types of businesses. The method by which BREC Administration goes totally against its mission to to contribute to a healthier, more vibrant community by providing exceptional parks, open spaces and recreational experiences for ALL of East Baton Rouge Parish.
