*splaining is a term used when angry people want to use their stupidity as an advantage in a debate with a being of superior intelligence.
Mansplaining
Femsplaining
Whitesplaing
It's name calling used to illicit an emotional response. That response is usually to be dismissive of anyone that is *splaining.
Like the race card, it is pulled out and used when their argument can't win based on rational discourse.
Example: "Stop mansplaining. Everyone knows your male privilege makes it impossible to understand the point of my argument anyway so you should not debate it."
