I loved reading The Martian. A PG-13 movie couldn't do Mark Watney justice. Also the movie felt like he was just hanging out waiting to be rescued instead of everything going wrong on a hostile planet. I was also excited when I saw there would be a movie for Savages and that Oliver Stone was directing it. The book is a very dark and violent story and I thought Oliver Stone would do it justice. The movie was fricking terrible. It removed a lot of what made the book great. The ending was even completely different which pissed me off.
