The article says it was recorded on camera. Drone footage maybe?

I wonder if the target was moving and how many shots he took. It's hard to believe how precise the optics and rangefinders are. How can you even spot a man 2.14 miles away, much less hit him with a rifle shot?

I'm sure it had to be walked in with a spotter. Scope was probably doped out so making calculated adjustments becomes relying on the spotter to call the hold over. .50 BMG is lobbing in at 1.5 miles, at 2+ miles it's like shooting 500 yds with a 45-70.

My guess is there was a pack of infidels. He aimed at the center and killed one of them. You dont get more than one shot as a sniper shooting that far away. A miss and they would all scatter like ants.

Here is a video of a guy shooting that far. It took him 3 shots to hit a 36" target.

1 MOA is approximately 40 inches at that distance. So a 6' human would be approximately as easy to see as a 2" figure at 100 yards.
