Because he's the worst hitter in the lineup?

Or a better question...why does LSU want a 9 hole DH?

This is a pretty silly question.

WHAT?

Did anyone not notice this? That's against the rules. Gonna let Coach Martin know and put a stop to it before the lineups are exchanged. Can't believe this is happening.

I understand LSU showing love to Beau, but is there a better DH option with some speed sitting on the bench?

Maybe we should remove one of our best defensive players from playing defense, just so our DH can move up in the lineup.

Jesus Christ you are dumb.

I get playing Beau, he's been a mainstay, but wish they had given Rankin Woley and Mason Templet some more opportunities. Woley specifically looked like a guy who could rake. It's like the just shut down the DH position once we really got into conference play.

I agree, it's not a good look that you think the best guy for DH is a guy you put 9th in the order because you just dont trust him to come through for you.

Beau sure as hell isn't who we want batting 9th... he's slow and isnt consistent enough, not to mention he chases that outside breaking ball like a fool...

that being said, I think Paul should give some consideration to somebody else... either slaughter or reid

Problem is we have great hitters, like Adams and Romero, who scouting reports know exactly how to get them out.

We have tried a lot of players at DH and our 9th best hitter won the job. It's unusual but that's where we are this year.
