I once got a pharmacy tech fired from stealing pills.
I noticed a couple times in a row that my script was always 3-5 pills short. Well this one time I went in I told the pharmacist while I was picking up a script that was already filled. He told me that I should count them before I leave. I counted them in front of him and it was again short. He fired the tech on the spot.

It blows my mind when pharmacists and techs think they can get away with this. Cameras are on us all the time.
I know of a few pharmacists that lost their license for a year, paid tens of thousands in fees, struggle to find work, and are subject to constant testing by the board. The Louisiana Board of Pharmacy is extremely strict. Also, if you are caught...they publish it in a column of shame in their quarterly newsletter.
