I disagree. Again, Matty Ott was an awesome closer. Then we trotted him out as a starter and he never recovered.

Dude, this is the college world series and we have our backs against the wall bigtime. We need a spark. Hess has the nastiest stuff on the entire team, including lange, and I believe he is just the right guy to pitch now that walker is out. He has obviously pitched in some very stressful moments this season and has been lights out here lately. He has started games before it won't be his first start I promise you. My point is what the hell do we have to lose? So matty ott didn't work out as a starter, that means hess will have the same result as he did? Why? Where's the logic in that? Please explain bc I want to hear it. They're two different people who react differently to situations. Hess has an internal fire that matty ott didnt, he's frickin throwed off and may be batshit crazy, but he's got something special. I can tell you that he will embrace this opportunity and make the most of it. We need to give him a shot. I think he would do fine. If he doesnt, then oh well, he will have the entire off season to think about it, get his mind right, and get prepared for next year when he will probably be our ace pitcher. Either way it will be a great experience to learn and build off of for hess and his future as a tiger. It's happening sooner or later dude he's just too damn good. We should start hess.
