For all the bellyaching by the players, Chambers Bay was a great first time venue. I definitely think it should be in the rotation. Certainly over Erin Hills.

I personally didn't find this open that enjoyable. The most cringeworthy part was the Fox anchors trying to pump it up constantly to keep people watching. "With this wind, THIS is the course people wanted to see" - anytime you're having to constantly validate the course, you know there's an issue

As long as they can fix the greens.

Good putts, just like good shots should be rewarded. You shouldn't get lucky based off a bounce on those cauliflower greens.

Would you have typed that if Jordon, Jason, Rory, Phil, DJ, Adam, Justin, and Sergio were dogfighting it out instead of a bunch of guys we really have never heard of?
