I make fun of Alex Jones and laugh at him a lot but he has stated many times that the swamp wants the populace constantly fighting to keep the attention off the DC corruption.

Also, don't forget what Assange said about having enough info to blow American politics apart. I figure that's his "stay alive" card with the US government as to why he hasn't exposed it if what he says is true.
