Ivory was with the Saints a season before Ingram and only there for 2 seasons with Ingram. He played in a total of 12 games in those 2 years but did average 4.7 and 5.4 YPC respectively. Ivory just couldn't stay healthy. And since he was traded, Ingram has had a higher YPC than him every season.

Logic won't work here. It's honestly a multitude of reasons he get's the hate here.

1) traded a 1st round pick for him
2) Went to Bama
3) Underperformed first couple years
4) lacked vision at first
5) Seen cheering Bama and Nat Championship game
6) Tore Victor Butler's ACL
7) Whined on the sideline last year

Right now and last few years he has played his absolute heart out and I love him for it. He has a legit shot at breaking Saints all time rushing record in next two years. I'm not buying into Peterson being the starter on this team, BUT I wouldn't put all my money on it not happening either.
