It would be interesting if they made a story similar to the force unleashed video game where Vader has a protege before he knows about Luke.

Unless the prequel is set far in the past, then we know what will happen, and I'm typically against it. What Vader was doing between Episodes III and IV, who really cares?
Give us Knights of the Old Republic if you're going with a prequel. That reeks of a cinematic treatment.
