Sorry, but this is also a complete failure by the department. Buying that much equipment and not bothering to record the SN or give anything an ID or tracking number is 100% negligence.

It notes in the audit report that none of the items were entered into inventory. Part of why it took so long to track is they're having to trace it all from purchase card statements.

They do not have any serial numbers. I know the head of LDWF met with DA's office, but prescription has run out for some of the charges that should have been brought against them.
