How do you stand on offshore fishing gear? Rods, reels, etc?

Nope learn me about the HMS. I know there are certain permits for landing certain fish but we haven't gotten too deep into all of that as we haven't gotten to that point.

We are in the process of getting a complete rig out for the boat. We don't want to go and buy all this stuff without the knowledge of what the right stuff to buy is.

We also aren't the type of people to buy "cheap" stuff. But we don't have to buy talicas for everything.

That said we are planning to get saragosas 8000 matched with either terez or tallus 7" medium heavy rods. We figure that will cover us for a decent amount of ability with a spinner. We will probably only get two of those setups right now as we already have one baitrunner that belongs to the owner of the boat and one of the guys that comes with us has two baitrunner setups as well.

On the boat we have a talica 25 and a Shimano 30a. The same guy that always comes with us also has a talica and a 30a.

We know it's not nearly enough to have a full rig but it's a start and we are desperately searching for good information on what we need to get ourselves rigged up.

To save for confusion it is three of us good buddies that are kind of fishing and hunting buddies and trying to run and use this boat.
