It would be one thing if it was way off line, but you shouldn't have fescue that close to the fairway. They have gotten stupid trying to make the US Open as hard as possible.
It's time to just dial the golf ball back in and bring some of the old school courses back in play.

Those fairways are wide though...shouldn't be too many mishits that bad...
