Look at some of their fan's posts on Oregon State's message board - Benny's House (that's a creepy fricking name).

quote:

Will not mention or link to avoid driving traffic to their site but i have actual hate for that "news organization". I dont hate easily or because i want to. But to do what they did today to Luke Heimlich, on the day before he pitches, based on what should be privacy protected court documents is the most reprehensible, scummy, villainous, smear tactic they have ever pulled. I hope every single person in the Oregon State athletic department stonewalls that "news organization"

quote:

not sure what that has do with the fact this "news organization" puts this headline on their front page today: Lxxx Hxxxxx sex crime surfaces as OSU baseball nears College World Series Do you understand it didnt surface now. They dug up it a while ago, and surfaced it TODAY. It's also a juvenile matter. Baylor's events were against ADULT athletes. There is a difference in the eyes of the law.

quote:

Right you are. This didn't happen at Oregon State This did not involve Oregon State athletes or students. This did not even happen in the State of Oregon. This did not happen recently. So what exactly does it have to do with Oregon State's baseball game tomorrow? Nothing.

quote:

is what a sick act? You know nothing about it. Because this involves juveniles. Do you understand?

quote:

I am NOT comparing Luke Heimlich to Jerry Sandusky, but it seems like not reporting his past transgressions made the situation far worse in retrospect.

quote:

The man served his sentence and has been clean ever since. People in his position present no greater risk to the community as the rest of us. All these comparisons with Penn State and Baylor are nonsense and concerns about his participation in camp is unwarranted.

quote:

This have not have been newsworthy if he were just a student. It's news because he plays baseball really well. Yes, what he did was wrong. He has paid his debt to society. He should be able to live the rest of his life.

Have other women started coming forward yet?

If they haven't, then they will, ESPECIALLY if he lucks out and gets drafted

I wonder if he participated in any camps with youth or anything like that?

If not, I wonder how they justified it?

Also, don't most athletes live on campus for at least their freshman year, so was he allowed to do so?

I have a lot of questions about this whole ordeal.

Don't feel like researching but I think it's fair to say this statistically untrue.

I know he pleaded guilty and is a registered sex offender...good grief I cant believe you are defending this

Were you there in court? Have you seen (1) the investigative report or (2) any trial transcript? An 18 year old man can have sex with a woman one day before her 18th birthday and end up a registered sex offender for it. So, unless you know some facts that we don't or believe completely what is printed in contemporary newspapers [Sorry, I don't], you are jumping to some very inappropriate conclusions.

This dumb mother fricker.

And if he weren't an athlete or if he sucked then this OSU fan wouldn't be defending him at all. Cuts both ways
