We see a similar trend happening every summer with the 3-Way release. The first batch comes out and flies off the shelves, because everybody wants it and knows that it will be a couple of weeks before Fort George can ship any more out. Then the second batch hits the shelves and it doesn't sell out quite as quickly, because the novelty is gone. By the third or fourth batch, it's pretty much readily available all the time after that, The same amount of beer is sold, but it doesn't all get sold in 2 days. It takes a week or week and a half to sell.
