Our passing game this year and how it operates, will have a huge impact on us signing him.

I think it's between LSU and A&M. Since A&M will fire Sumlin, I think it's obviously LSU.

Justin Rodgers committed to a school that Marshall simply doesn't want to go to...That said, Marshall is going to play this out until he sees exactly what LSU does with their receivers this year. While we as a program have put quite a few big names in the NFL as of late, a guy like Marshall doesn't just put himself on those former tigers level, he probably sees himself as better. It's just the nature of the position. So if LSU goes out and has a clear cut star wideout and he sees that we clearly feature the receivers as much if not more than the running backs like usual, then Marshall will give us a long look. But here's the downright truth of it, even if we lose out on him, the top rated WR from our own state....LSU will still not be hurt by it. Literally not one bit. Losing out on a star QB can kill you (Shea Patterson). Missing on an elite Linebacker can haunt you for years (Moses) . Losing the best DB since Ed Reed that's now an NFL star (Landon collins) can somewhat hurt you...but for every Collins we lost there was an Adams to fill his spot...for every Moses there was an Klavon Chassion. Even Myles Brennan and Narcisse might be as good as Patterson one day....but when it comes to wideout...LSU can literally find a no name 6-3 165 pound kid no one ever heard of and make him turn into a star....Brandon Lafell was a 3 star guy. And led the team his final year in yards. Chark was a 3 star guy and just barely on some sites...and he will be the best we have this season. The fact is that from all of the 4 star guys we get at wideout and the lower ranked lesser know guys, it makes losing guys like Marshall totally acceptable because one of those other lower guys will be a superstar anyway. Look at this year, Chark, Drake Davis, Dee Anderson, Steven Sullivan....all were ranked way lower than Tyron Johnson who was the consensus top 3 WR overall...and he transferred along with many others at the spot. Because from wherever it comes from, the best will be out there and they will be elite if they are our starting wideouts. Period. It's really a statement when you have guys like James wright who never caught a ball his senior year get drafted that spring...and still is playing in the NFL. If Marshall decides to leave then go ahead and leave. We literally will be absolutely fine without you. Just like we'll be fine without his shite talking QB too. Please...both of you go to TCU and get destroyed by Tom Herman and his UT revival every year you're in college. It's like really....of all places....you went to freaking TCU? A team that's maybe the 5th or 6th most important program in their own state....wanting to talk about LSU losing their grip on LA?? Another genius Parkway QB really telling everyone how it really is in real life I guess....not like the last Great parkway QB did anything to make us lose confidence in his decision making either.....come on down Mr. Harris..
