The Saints never trailed in the second half.
If "the better team that day" is the team that outgains the other yardage wise Drew Brees would have 7 rings. The Vikings had a dominant defense and the best offense in the league put a 31 spot on them. Of course the Vikings (top 5 O) is going to outgain the Saints going against the 25th best D in the league. It's called a bad matchup and the Saints still pulled it out. That's what made them 2009 SB champs
