You can try all you want.... say what you want... make all the excuses you want..... the 1989 49ers were better. The 1984 49ers were better and the 1985 bears were better... he'll I'll even throw in the 1978 Steelers team.....

The 1978 Steelers are good but they played a weak schedule and committed a whopping 39 TOs, 22 INTs. Prone to turnovers renders that a major liability when discussing the best teams of all-time, can't in good conscious consider them among the best bc of that.
