The Americans with disabilities act only protects service dogs, which have to be individually trained to assist with an actual disability. All other "service" dogs can frick off. The vests and certificates bought online don't mean anything, only actual training and an actual disability.

I'm a dog guy, but I would have choked that fricking dog to death right there in the plane as the other passengers screamed and watched in horror if it had bit my face while I was sitting in a fricking seat on a plane.

Edited to add: if it were my dog I'd put him down. It'd suck, but it's too easy to get/train/have a dog that doesn't bite people on fricking planes.
