I somehow beat Tottenham in the FA Cup. I then lost to Walsall in the next round.

However, I saved enough in my budget to sign Bernard and this promising Argentine CB on contract expiry.

ETA: Goalkeepers are unbelievably terribad on manager mode. My guy and the guy across from me let in poorly hit near post finesse shots every game.

Okay how the frick do I change kit numbers in career mode? Because I just signed Asensio and it somehow gave him the #54 jersey while the #17 and #21 jerseys are completely unused and that's ridiculous. Fifa 18 fixed a lot of things but it also complicated a lot of things. The "squad hub" pisses me off.

Keepers aren't terrible online. Have noticed more one-on-ones with the keeper that were going in untouched last year are now hitting the keeper (some being saved, some still going in). Don't try to bang one home from the center of the box on a breakaway- it's getting saved if you don't have an angle. So far not much different from last year, if anything I'd say the keepers handling and positioning is noticeably improved. I'm scoring and giving up tons of goals, but not many cheap ones. That boils down to the attackers AI positioning (or maybe custom tactics/positioning rating/work rates actually matter this year?) being light years better.

I'm playing in a 3-4-2-1 on FUT. I have Dembele at right forward. 20 goals and 13 assists in 20 games.
