If the national seed in the bracket is eliminated in the regional stage, the super regional will be played at the higher seeded team's field. If the two seeds are the same, the Super Regional will be bid upon by the two competing teams.

That's a horse shite way to decide who hosts. Considering most baseball programs don't make any money as it is, the NCAA now wants these programs to shell out money to host?
It gives a HUGE advantage to the bigger schools like UT abd LSU if we were ever in that situation. A team like LBSU would probably have its most profitable weekend in their baseball program's history if they were allowed to host.
So instead of a team with no money getting a chance to make some money for their program, the rich just get richer.
Nvm: I thought LBSU was a 2 Seed. I deserve all downvotes but the premise is still true.
