Question Regarding Regional Winners

So Cal State Fullerton has already beaten Stanford in the Palo Alto Regional and Long Beach is in the other side as the 1 seed for their regional. Obviously if LBS wins their regional they'll host a Super, but how is hosting decided if Texas happens to win that regional (as a 2 seed just like CSF)?

Highest bidder usually wins, all other things equal.

I assume if the national seed loses, they re-bid. It doesn't go straight to the other #1 seed.

If the national seed in the bracket is eliminated in the regional stage, the super regional will be played at the higher seeded team's field. If the two seeds are the same, the Super Regional will be bid upon by the two competing teams.

So it would depend on which 2 seed was the higher bid in the tournament overall?
I'm positive that all things being equal, if the results are LBS advances over Texas, they'll host CSF even though CSF beat Stanford.

So it's a decision by the committee?

That's a horse shite way to decide who hosts. Considering most baseball programs don't make any money as it is, the NCAA now wants these programs to shell out money to host?
It gives a HUGE advantage to the bigger schools like UT abd LSU if we were ever in that situation. A team like LBSU would probably have its most profitable weekend in their baseball program's history if they were allowed to host.
So instead of a team with no money getting a chance to make some money for their program, the rich just get richer.
Nvm: I thought LBSU was a 2 Seed. I deserve all downvotes but the premise is still true.

Kinda seems like it yeah. There's no way the committee doesn't give it to Texas if Texas finds a way to beat LBS. Not in my mind, anyway.
You just mixed up CSF and LBS, who doesn't mix up all these California State Baseball teams?

I'm sure someone will confirm but I think seeding has nothing to do with it (or very little).
Not sure how they would handle a major as a #4 seed paired up with a sisters of the poor #2 seed. Would they send the major to the sisters of the poor if they only hold 1000 people in their stadium?
ETA: nevermind, looks like it's by seeding but the higher seed has declined in the past due to insufficient facilities (Missouri state in 2015).

The higher ranked team would go. They have an idea when it is as they do have them ranked.

Higher ranked as in higher overall seed in the tourney, I'm assuming.
