Trump had 36 nominations waiting for confirmation, as of May 17
And of course even with a minority and doing away with the filibuster there are ways the Democrats can slow crawl the nominations, and they ARE doing it.
Now, that doesn't change the fact that Trump should have had these nominations ready to go long before he actually did, because he absolutely should have, but to pretend like the Democrats aren't purposely dragging things out simply for political reasons is s a bit much.

White House officials say they have 36 political ambassadors awaiting nomination.

What a shitty fricking excuse... Why doesn't Trump focus a little of his twitter rage on his own party that has the power to ram through any of the nominations they want?
Of course, we all know why. It's because Trump can't even come up with original thoughts to tweet angrily. He just rants about whatever the airheads at Fox and Friends tell him to.
If his staff could just convince him to replace Fox and Friends with Popeye and Pals, the nation would be much better off (except of course for the ridiculously excessive subsidies to spinach farmers Trump would start pushing).

Where have all of you guys up in arms yelling about obstructionist been for the past six years? Was that ok but not now?
It ms the system we have and both sides are filled with clowns that use it in a manner in which it's not supposed to be used. I think the intent was to be a system of checking the party in power from abusing that power. Either/both sides taking this idiotic position that they just won't agree to anything period while Not controlling the whitehousr is harmful to our country.
Of course that doesn't mean approving unqualified individuals.
But circling back, neither side is innocent in this game. I cant say I blame the Dems if they play obstructionsit at this point given all that had gone in the past several years.

...
That just sounds like Congress.
Anyway, here's WaPo's tracking of nominations (sorry, I tried to find additional sources, but no one else seems to have it summed up nearly so succinctly):
