I took neurology in grad school and med school, and I made an A both times (yep I am that big of a nerd). POTUS hadn't shown any signs of dementia or delirium.

Hard to say, he has personally admitted he doesn't really read. Instead he consumes partisan media all day.
So its hard to say whether it's a sign of dementia or just like happens here, he just gets all triggered and emotional from what Fox News or Breit Bart is feeding people and he takes it at face value. Again, like a lot of people around here do. Which, as those outlets often do, they are not framing the issue honestly, just feeding a pro-GOP narrative.
So Trump regurgitates it and it makes him look like he is mentally slipping.
