I do find it interesting how for tiger stadium, the pmac, and the box... National sports writers make it a point to let their readers know how loud and intense the LSU crowd was.
It's especially interesting for the PMAC. Any time LSU basketball has a huge game and the pmac is packed (liked Oklahoma or Kentucky when they were undefeated) writers will say how absolutely nuts the crowd was. And you don't usually read stuff like that for most games around the country.
It must be a combo of how tiger stadium and the pmac and designed which funnels the noise and LSU fans being crazy drunk coonasses.
