It was almost like May heard Hillary Clinton boasting about what a crappy campaign she ran and announced "hold my beer and watch this".
This should have been a slam dunk for the Tories. Not only did they have all the momentum going into the election but the face of Labour is a guy who can't go ten minutes without talking about how swell Hugo Chavez was and how Venezuela really is the model for the UK to follow.
