So you'll be in a suit a bunch? Wear dress shoes like an adult. People in my field wear them all the time but I'm dealing with plant baws and engineers most of the time.

I have a nice pair of ropers that cost more than your suit. Nothing wrong with wearing a nice pair of boots with a suit.

Lots of people wear boots with suits. It mostly depends on the style of the boot and the style of the suit.
