I have read where others calling themselves conservatives considered CSA to be traitors.

What people don't realize is although one side did remain under U.S. control the other considered themselves patriots. They weren't trying to overthrow a government. They were trying to separate as I understand it.

The reasoning doesn't matter. This is going to be my point: We have a very similar situation right now. The situation is reaching a boiling point. We are a nation clearly separated RIGHT NOW.

Should a "war" break out the government will probably be seen as on one side. Which side? Which side would the dear reader be on? Which side would be considered the patriot? The other will be the traitor?

As it stands right now I would project the government to come down on the liberal's side. I would be on the other side and consider myself to be a patriot.

I am a veteran. Should my side lose, and it probably would/will, could I still be buried in a national cemetery?

I have one last point: I am Indian (mostly). Whitey took over and later brought in blacky. Whitey and a few blackies killed my people and put the few that were left on the most Godforsaken lands they could find. WE were the owners and the government. WE were overthrown by who? They infiltrated and then overthrew us.

WE are the patriots! EVERYONE ELSE are traitors so who gives a dam who is buried in a cemetery!??!
