I just don't understand how the print and news media can look at themselves with any honesty or objectivity and say there isn't a bias one way or the other. When the ratio of conservative vs. liberal thinkers is skewed in a way that drastically conflicts with the ratio of the public at large, there is simply no argument that can be accepted claiming any shroud of objectivity.
It's also not only about affirmative coverage of one view vs the other, but also incomplete views, as well as refrains from covering certain issues and/or investigating them all together.
That's fine, though. Bias will always persist in society when it comes to the way one thinks vs. the other. You cannot force conservatives to want to go into journalism. However, don't hold yourself out as an objective fact-based news organization. You are supposed to provide the public with the service of ameliorating information asymmetries. At least be honest and proclaim your bias so people know how the information you report should be filtered.

Because they live in an echo chamber. All they heard at liberal colleges was their own view points. Now, they are surrounded by likeminded associates that just affirm what they already hold to be truth. They never seek nor sincerely want to understand a counterpoint.
