Exactly. I mean, what's the benchmark for success in Baton Rouge? It's Omaha. Conference championships will satisfy some on here, but think the bigger picture here. What if there's no Omaha or if there's an Omaha trip but no title, are fans going to be okay with this relative to their lofty preseason expectations?

Where does one draw the line for a successful season is a question that many on here either purposely or inadvertently fail to answer.

Anything but Omaha will make for a long offseason.
An early flameout in Omaha will make for a long offseason.

If PM lets them play loose like they have in the SEC tourney, they should be fine.

PM decisions in regionals will be the key on how he manages his bullpen.
