Wild Azalea Trail near Alexandria, but it's pretty hot this time of year, better in the spring when the azaleas and dogwoods are in bloom.

Another backpack camping trip in Kisatchie would be to hike Devil's Backbone Trail and camp at Kisatchie Creek. It's a good swimming hole in the area and pretty camping.
