All private schools & open enrollment public schools are separated from the public schools once the playoffs start.
The open enrollment public schools are magnet schools or any public school that can pull students from a wider area than a standard school district.
Open enrollment schools aren't separated from the public schools.
Landry-Walker won the 5A state title and Edna Karr won the 4A state title, on the public side. St. Thomas More won Division II title and Evangel won Div. 1 on the Select side.

Plus Warren Easton and McDonogh 35 were in the semis. Neville was 4A runner up and they're the only passing school in Monroe City Schools so they have kids from all over Monroe.

Why did Scotlandville play Evangel?

Karr and Landry Walker's districts are all of Orleans Parish, like other schools who have a whole parish for a district
