This is the best NOLA real estate website to watch. It shows in real time the latest houses that have been entered into the MLS. It a site that I watch to see neighborhood trends for properties that I am looking at buying for investment purposes and right now the number of newly listed (i.e. properties that have gone up for sale) properties in Orleans has surged the last two weeks.

It is a serious stretch to say monuments coming down made people run out and put their homes up for sale. I would be the more reasonable explanation is people are selling with school getting out.
But monuments..Mitch.. and all that bullshite.
