Complete f*cking bullshite.

When BillyJeff left office he staked claim to three legacies for himself --

1) Welfare Reform. The TRUTH is that he was brought to it kicking and screaming by Newt Gingrich. And, the ONLY reason he signed it (after vetoing it the year before) is because it was his reelection year and Dick Morris told him he had to sign it. In fact, as he was signing it he stated that he didn't like it but would fix it in his second term. He didn't fix sh!t and then took credit for it's success.

2) Balanced Budget. This one he vetoed twice before he finally signed it in his reelection year, again at the behest of Dick Morris. Once again, in claiming it as his "legacy" (he was desperate to invent legacies for himself) he never once mentioned Newt.

3) BillyJeff's biggest self-professed "achievement" upon leaving office was that he put more minorities in their own homes than any president before him. He did this by putting Jimmy Carter's Community Reinvestment Act on steroids by forcing banks (under threats of multimillion dollar fines) to give out bad loans. This directly led to the housing collapse several years later. And, when all the sh!t hit the fan, ole BillyJeff was nowhere to be found to take "credit" for this "legacy."

Here's BillyJeff's HUD Secretary -- long before the sh!t hit the fan

I'm waiting for the part where you explain how cutting welfare wasn't Clinton. Kicking and screaming and then being proud of it--you liberals.

Ok, well here is a 1992 campaign commercial where Bill vows to end welfare as we know it. Maybe he didn't love the bill he signed, maybe it wasn't something he truly really wanted to do, but welfare reform was part of his platform and he did sign the law.
