I know it's wrong but that petty of a crime they could have just gave him a warning

Agreed, and just made him leave and took the id. Kinda stupid on his part though. Should've known somebody would recognize him, being Leonard's brother and playing for LSU.

I agree 100% but in some states that can be considered obstruction, which probably wouldn't stick, but could bring felony charges

Yea... then everyone from here to Houston will know that you can get away with using a fake id at the casino and only get a warning! It's not just Fournette the casino has to worry about!

The casino is not going to risk a fine over this. They are required to report this incident.
A minor incident for Fournette that requires minor punishment. But it's not minor to the casino and the state police who enforces gambling laws.
