Dad just got a 17, lariat, 6.2. Truck is super nice and pulls really well. Like people have said it's not going to win a race but it works. We pull his 38' camper to dega and averaged 7.8 mph pulling it 65-70 mph. He only pulls a few times a year so it didn't make sense to but the diesel. And this is coming from a gmc guy.

My current truck is a 3/4 ton Chevrolet gassed with 250k very hard miles on it. I just had to change the transmission and brakes within the past 6 months. That's a badass truck. If I were buying one today, it'd be a Ford gasser.
