So LeBron has played better than Kobe did in those two championships, yet because he had far superior competition (average opponent SRS of 8.3) than Kobe (average opponent SRS of 4.93), his record is worse.

Lebron was always the best player on every championship team he was on. Finals mvp every time. Kobe wasnt eveb the best player on his team

That's great, but who is the better basketball player?

You people get too caught up in "Hurr Dee Durr, championships, Herp a derp".

If we are going that route, Bill Russell is better than everyone, and Robert Horry and Derek Fisher are better than a shite ton of hall of famers.

James is a top 2 player, at worst and is arguably the best player ever to the play the game.
