Two possibilities:

1) They know it wasn't the Russians, but Seth Rich who leaked. Letting the FBI see the server would prove there was no Russia connection.

2) They thought it was the Russians, but they didn't want the FBI seeing all the illegal and unethical shite they were up to.

There's literally zero other possibilities. They had something to hide in either case.
